AMD Radeon RX 6600 out in October according to recent leaks

According to the Kitguru portal, a leak about AMD's mid-range Radeon RX 6600 graphics card has just been published. If true, both its specifications, the embargo dates of content related to it, and even its possible launch in the month of October are confirmed.

The leak comes from the VideoCardz portal, which has had access to embargoed information on the upcoming Radeon RX 66000. It has also had access to a table that lists its specifications along with other Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs.

October is the month for new mid-range GPus from AMD

This series of GPus would be aimed at being able to handle all possible games at 1080p. The Radeon RX 6600 will feature a Navi 23 GPU with 1792 streaming processors, 32MB of Infinity Cache, and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. In the leaked data table, no more restrained 4GB or 6GB models have appeared for users with a lower budget.

As is customary for the launch of new models, AMD should begin shipping samples to its board partners and collaborators on September 29. On October 13, AMD is expected to lift the embargo on this information, and partners will be able to begin announcing their custom solutions.

It would take a few weeks for these models to hit the market, so by the end of October, the different versions of the AMD Radeon RX 6600 could be available in stores. They would be a great support for gamers who want to upgrade their PC, but have seen their stock reduced by cryptocurrency miners who buy the maximum stock of high-end GPUs. As these are mid-range, the market would be focused especially on home users, not so much enthusiasts, since 8 Gb may seem little for users who want a high-end card.
