AMD Radeon RX 8000 models appear leaked in Linux patches
Although they have been released relatively recently, AMD is already working on the new graphics cards with RDNA 4 architecture, which would be called the RX 8000 series. According to Tech Power Up, it has been seen today that its team dedicated to compatibility with Linux has presented some patches that have appeared through recent GitHub patches for GFX12 targets.

These AMD patches have introduced two new discrete GPUs to the LLVM compiler for Linux. This suggests that these are the first iterations of the RDNA4 graphics architecture, which could be part of the Radeon RX 8000 series of graphics cards for desktop systems.
Compatibility with AMD's RX 8000 already appears in Linux
The naming scheme of these new targets, GFX1200 and GFX1201, would suggest a continuation of AMD's logical progression through graphics architectures. It would follow AMD's history of associating RDNA1 with GFX10 and follow suit with subsequent generations, as RDNA2 was GFX10.2 and RDNA3 was GFX11.
Development on these new GPUs is still in the early stages, but there is a notable lack of detailed information about the upcoming graphics ISA or its features within the patches. For now, GFX12 targets will be treated similarly to GFX11 targets, as the patch states “For now they behave identically to the GFX11«.
This comment would indicate that AMD is keeping the details under wraps until closer to launch. But they are developing, even though it was very obvious from their development cycle; has been confirmed by this patch. The patch that defines the target names and ELF numbers for the new GFX1200 and GFX1201 targets, and is required to enable AMD Radeon RX 8000 compatibility with the AMD ROCm compute stack, the AMDVLK Vulkan driver, and the RadeonSI driver.
