AMD RX 5000 Series: Navi to outperform NVIDIA RTX and specs to be revealed at E3 2019
Revealed the name of the new AMD Navi, which will be called AMD RX 5000 Series and will be based on the new RDNA architecture.
Jump the big surprise at Computex 2019. During the conference of Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, we were able to see the new Radeon Navi. They haven't given any data regarding these graphs, but it points to be a bloody monstrosity. They have only given a preview and have shown a Navi GPU silicon, possibly engineering. These new graphics cards will be called Radeon RX 5000 Series and all the details will be given at E3 2019. They promise to be a true revolution and possibly put NVIDIA on the ropes
AMD kicks GCN and introduces RDNA
They have not only given data on the name, they have also revealed that the GCN charts have been finished. Vega since it showed that this architecture for graphics was obsolete. In 2017 they started working on RDNA (Radeon DNA), an architecture about which nothing is known. It promises to improve efficiency and performance per clock cycle and to be a tough competitor to NVIDIA.
Although they have not revealed Stream Processors, frequencies and nothing else, they have shown a benchmark in a game. We have seen how an AMD RX 5000 slit more than an NVIDIA RTX 2070 in the Strange Brigade.
But the most interesting thing is that they have not said the name. Because it's interesting? By the simple fact that the RX 5700 arrived in July. Of course, that an AMD RX 5000 performs more than an RTX 2070 and then they talk about the RX 5700, it could indicate that the performance of the new Navi will be much higher than expected .
It will be during E3 2019, specifically on June 10, when more data on these AMD RX 5000 graphics will be given. We will then see all the specifications and the first graphic, as Lisa Su said during the conference.
