Leaked the possible features of the AMD RX 5600 based on the Navi 14 silicon

Leaked information suggests that AMD is working on the Navi 14 silicon that could give life to the RX 5600 graphics cards.

AMD is supposedly going to release a number of graphics cards based on the Navi architecture . The reality is that we only have the RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 on the market. The company has stated that Polaris will continue to be manufactured, and just a few hours ago it was revealed that the Radeon VII is reaching its end of life. This is because features of new Navi graphics cards have supposedly been leaked.

Some weeks ago the supposed AMD RX 5900, RX 5800 and RX 5600 were leaked by Sapphire. Now the possible characteristics of the RX 5600 are filtered. As always, the leaks we will take with great care. The truth is that it would not make sense for Polaris (RX 500) and these new graphics to coexist in the market.

RX 5600 supposed specs leaked

What have been leaked are some characteristics of what would be an intermediate step between the mid-range and the input range. This AMD Navi 14 silicon would be manufactured under the 7nm lithography. What has supposedly been leaked is that it will have 1536 Stream Processors. This tells us that these new graphics cards will have 24 RDNA-based Compute Units.

But the leak also indicates that this graphics card could reach 1MHz. Basically it would be the maximum frequency of current AMD graphics in extreme mode. This frequency is only reached in certain cases and usually an intermediate point is reached, called the 'Gaming' frequency.

Many users demand cheaper Navi, but the reality is that that's what the Polaris are for. Considering that AMD has confirmed the RX 500 as a mid-range and entry-level, these new graphics would overlap them. If they were to come true, Polaris would be discontinued. Possibly in September, when the AIB models of Navi arrive, more information will be given on these supposed new Navi 14s.
