AMD RX 6800 XT breaks 60.000 points in 3DMark Fire Strike with overclocking

Getting a new generation graphics card, either from AMD or NVIDIA, is really difficult. The stock quantity of these charts is limited due to manufacturing issues. Overclocker Takukou has gotten an AMD RX 6800 XT and overclocked it. With liquid nitrogen he has taken it to 2.8GHz and has scored more than 60.000 points in the 3DMark Fire Strike.

AMD Radeon graphics card stock issues isn't something we didn't know about beforehand. From ASUS UK they have already informed that the quantity of stock would be very limited. The problem is that TSMC, who manufactures these silicones, has its 7nm production line that is more than saturated.

Overclocked AMD RX 6800 XT Shatters 3DMark Fire Strike Record

Takukou had to mount a pot to the graphics card in order to achieve this result. In addition to bringing the RX 6800 XT's GPU to 2.8GHz, it has also overclocked the Ryzen 9 5950X. This processor with a corresponding liquid nitrogen pot, has raised the processor frequency to 5.6GHz. This Ryzen 9 5950X was accompanied with a total of 32GB DDR4.

With all this, the graphics card has managed to reach 61.831 points in the 3DMark Fire Strike. It has managed to achieve the records with the fastest graphics card so far and is the first to break the 60.000 point barrier. It seems that this generation of AMD graphics supports overclocking well.

This reference RX 6800 XT comes with 4608 Stream Processors with a maximum frequency of 2.2250MHz. It has been possible to raise the frequency, in this case, up to 750MHz, improving the frequency by just over 33%. We will see if in the next few days this record is answered with a graph from NVIDIA.
