Frequencies leaked from various AMD Ryzen 4000 processors

There's a lot of interest right now surrounding the fourth generation of AMD Ryzen processors . These new processors are generating a lot of buzz regarding the IPC improvements for the Zen 3 architecture based on the 7nm+ node. Data on two models, possibly still in development, has been leaked. Most interestingly, their clock speeds have also been leaked.

It seems that there will be three variants of processors based on 8 cores and 16 threads. If the data is reliable, one of these three will be a high-end APU, the first to date. According to the leak, one of these processors works at 3.8GHz and a Boost frequency of 4.4GHz. The second of these processors works at 4.0GHz and arrives in Boost mode at 4.6GHz.

Dual AMD Ryzen 4000 Processor Frequencies

The APUs that AMD has launched so far were directly focused on the low-end and slightly on the mid-range. They have been developed as a solution for those looking to play 1080p, at best, without spending excessively. They are not intended for intensive gaming, but they are already quite better than the iGPUs of Intel processors

Regarding the filtered frequencies, these have to do with the AMD Ryzen 4000 processors, also known as Vermeer. These new processors are based on the Zen3 @ 7nm + architecture, while the Ryzen 4000G APUs are based on Zen2 @ 7nm. Additionally, Vermeer is expected to see an IPC improvement of over 15%, which is impressive given that it will simply use an improved lithograph.

Additionally, data has also been found for a 16-core and 32-thread processor that would replace the Ryzen 9 3950X. This new Ryzen 4000 processor would have a base frequency of 3.7GHz and would reach 4.6GHz in Boost mode. This represents an improvement of 200MHz in base frequency and 100MHz in Boost over the Ryzen 9 3950X

Note that both models have the identifier A0, which means that they are engineering samples. The processors released by AMD have the identifier A1, which indicates that they are commercial versions.
