Ryzen 7 3850X and Ryzen 7 3750X, the cards under the command of AMD to unseat the Intel Comet Lake-S

The arrival of Intel Comet Lake-S processors seems to be causing AMD to move tab. Apparently AMD would have more processors ready than those currently on the market and the announced Ryzen3 3100 and Ryzen 3 3300X. It seems that AMD would have ready the Ryzen 7 3850X and Ryzen 7 3750X processors, which will be announced on June 16 and will go on sale on July 7.

It should be noted that this leak seems quite flimsy, so we must take it with a lot of tweezers. A leak that would be based on a supposed Gigabyte slide that does not match the latest data that has appeared. It could be the case that the slide is 'old' since the release date of the A520 chipset does not match what is filtered.

Possible AMD Ryzen 7 3850X and Ryzen 7 3750X?

This Gigabyte slide indicates that the B550 chipset will not support older generation processors. This same week AMD has rectified this information and finally Zen + architecture processors will be supported. The slide also shows the A520 chipset for August, although it will finally arrive in September.

According to the leaked data, these new processors will arrive under the name Matisse Refresh. Currently the Ryzen 3000 are codenamed Matisse, so they would be an update on these. No details have been given, so we do not know if there are improvements at the architecture level or they will only have better frequencies.

We can assume that the Ryzen 7 3850X is a revision of the Ryzen 7 3800X and will be released to compete with the Core i7-10700K. The Ryzen 7 3750X will be a revision of the Ryzen 7 3700X and will be released to compete with the Core i5-10600K.

Very little is the data we have so far on these new processors. It remains to be seen when they announce what improvements they offer and if they really are interesting processors.
