AMD's Ryzen 7 4800U lasts 10 minutes at 3.1GHz in the Lenovo YOGA 14S
AMD's new laptop solutions are performing very well, based on the leaks we're seeing. The Ryzen 4000U and Ryzen 4000H are based on the Zen2 @ 7nm architecture and are very tight solutions to have a low TDP. The Lenovo YOGA 14S laptop with a Ryzen 7 4800U performs luxuriously, it can even maintain the Boost frequencies for quite a long time.
This Lenovo YOGA 14S with a Ryzen 7 4800U makes use of the same cooling system as the Intel versions. The plain version has a small, thin copper heatpipe with a blower fan for active heat dissipation. The more advanced version has two heatpipes with an aluminum radiator.
