AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, Ryzen 9 5900X and Ryzen 7 5800X come out in the SiSoft Sandra benchmark
The data that AMD offered us regarding the Ryzen 5000 is quite promising in terms of performance. These processors offer a 19% IPC increase over the current Ryzen 3000. New performance data for the Ryzen 9 5950X, Ryzen 9 5900X, and Ryzen 7 5800X has now emerged under the SiSoft Sandra benchmark software.
These new Ryzen 5000 processors do not offer a major leap in architecture over the Ryzen 3000. Zen2 (Ryzen 3000 and Ryzen Mobile 4000) is based on TSMC's 7nm and Zen3 (Ryzen 5000) is based on TSMC's 7nm +, an improvement of the node used in Zen. The big improvements are in the cache and in Infinity Fabric.
[amazon box=»B089WD454D» title=»AMD RYZEN 9 3900XT» star_rating=»none» template=»table»]AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, Ryzen 9 5900X and Ryzen 7 5800X come out in several benchmarks
Specifically, these three processors have undergone the arithmetic and multimedia benchmarks. The arithmetic benchmark measures the result obtained in GOPS and the multimedia result is in Mpix / s. In arithmetic everything is more or less within expectations, but in multimedia things get quite out of hand. The Ryzen 9 5900X is above the 3950X and the 5800X is almost on par with the 3900X.
It should be noted that despite the spectacular data, we are talking about synthetic benchmark data. We imagine that at stake these new Ryzen 5000 processors will be true beasts due to the high frequencies. It presents a rather complicated future for Intel, who needs to put aside the 14nm lithography as it is.
