AMD Ryzen Zen 2 based on 7nm can go up to 4.5GHz

Alleged data leak of the AMD Ryzen Zen 2 based on 7nm lithography that could reach 4.5GHz in Boost mode.

Currently on the market we have AMD Ryzen Zen + processors that are based on the 12nm lithography and it is expected that perhaps before the end of the year or during the first quarter of 2019 the Ryzen Zen 2 processors based on the 7nm lithography will arrive. About these new Zen 2 processors a rumor has arrived indicating that Radeon Technologies Group has received an engineering sample for optimization (rare that the graphics division receives a processor if it does not have integrated graphics)

New rumors are emerging about AMD Ryzen Zen 2 7nm litho processors.

The leak indicates that a Zen 2 processor with eight cores and sixteen processing threads could work at 4.0GHz and could go up to 4.5GHz in Boost mode, while the current Ryzen 7 2700X work as a base at 3.7GHz and can reach at 4.3GHz in Boost mode.

These new processors of unknown name would have been tested with DDR4 @ 3600MHz memory with CL15 latencies and an RX Vega 64. An AM4 motherboard of unknown chipset has been used and we imagine that it receives a BIOS update. Performance has not been shown but performance is said to be very good over the Core i7 8700K (six-core, twelve-thread)

We should not give the bells to the flight since we do not have data, it is only a generic consideration without data, although to be an engineering solution in development, it is interesting to say the least. We will see how the product evolves and if it fulfills what was promised. We are going to be cautious about this leak because then we get the surprises, because one thing is said in the first instance and then, yatal.
