AORUS RAID SSD 2TB AIC announced by Gigabyte
Announced by Gigabyte The launch of the AORUS RAID SSD 2TB AIC expansion card. This new solution offers us read and write speeds of up to 6.2GB / s under the PCIe 3.0 x8 interface. The expansion card has a dedicated RAID controller and four 2GB M.512 NVMe drives installed. Gigabyte claims it offers a 1.8x performance improvement over traditional NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSDs.

This unit is compatible with Intel X299 and Z390 chipset motherboards, as well as being compatible with AMD TRX40 and X570. They also highlight that it can work on motherboards with PCIe 4.0, but under the PCIe 3.0 standard.
Although it comes with a RAID 0 configuration, it can be switched to RAID 1 or RAID 10 through the controller, depending on the user's needs. Gigabyte also highlights that the AORUS RAID SSD 2TB AIC system has 9 temperature sensors. Using AORUS Storage Manager we can see the temperatures of the sensors of the M.2 NVMe drives.
Gigabyte has not revealed the price of this AORUS RAID SSD 2TB AIC drive, but we should not expect it to be cheap, possibly around 400 euros.
