With just over two weeks to go until Lisa Su opens Computex 2019 on May 27. It will be in this Keynote when the new AMD Ryzen processors are presented. These new Zen2 architecture processors are based on 7nm lithography. Now the first data of these new APISAK handheld processors has been leaked. It seems that a top-of-the-range Ryzen processor with 16 cores and 32 threads is confirmed. Su, during the CES in Las Vegas already said that in the package "there is still a lot of space in the interposer of these new processors"

APISAK is not the first time that it has leaked data on AMD processors and it is usually quite right. This new processing of undetermined name will have 16 cores and 32 threads. Perhaps the most interesting thing is that it has revealed the working frequencies. It will operate at a base frequency of 3.3GHz and can reach 4.2GHz in Boost mode.
Said processor is apparently an engineering model that would be quite advanced. Everything suggests that the specifications will not change much between this model and the commercial ones. Logically, to get all the performance of this processor you will need a motherboard with a new generation chipset. Some processors that, as we have highlighted, will be presented at the end of the month. They may take about a month to reach the market.
The most interesting thing is that Threadripper processors disappear from the company's roadmaps. This could be because the Ryzen will already have up to 16 cores and the EPYC would already be there for more. It is currently difficult to find an EPYC in the general market, but the strategy could change dramatically. Remember that the Threadripper were generated by engineers as an intermediate solution between the Ryzen and the EPYC.
