AMD Ryzen 5000U APU to be based on Cezanne @ Zen3 and Lucienne @ Zen2
The idea of launching the AMD Ryzen 5000 processors was supposed to put the APU mess behind us. Ryzen APUs to date were based on an architecture prior to that used in Ryzen. All Ryzen 3000 APUs are based on Zen + and Ryzen 3000 processors on Zen2. Now the data for AMD Ryzen 5000U APUs has been leaked.
As leaked, the AMD Ryzen 5000U APUs named Cezanne and Lucienne will combine different architectures. Cezanne will be based on the Zen3 architecture, like the Ryzen 5000. On the other hand, the Lucienne APUs will be based on the Zen2 architecture, which is currently used in AMD Ryzen 3000 processors.
