A roadmap from ASRock, during an event in Taipei, confirms that this year we will not see the AMD RX 600 Series graphics cards, which will arrive next year.

During the last few weeks there has been a lot of talk about the arrival on the market of a new family of AMD Radeon graphics cards, specifically the RX 600 Series. This speculation will end, thanks to the presentation of an ASRock roadmap, which confirms that we will not see new graphics card architecture this year. Everything points to the first quarter of 2019, specifically, until February of next year we would not see new solutions.

Everything has taken place during the XFast Network event, which has been held in Taipei, where ASRock products are shown, which will be brought to the market shortly. Specifically, there is mainly talk of the arrival of a second generation of Radeon RX M2 graphics cards, which will arrive in August.

The time of route does not mention at any time the new family RX 600 Series, something that attracts a lot of attention. What stands out the most is that the RX Vega 64 and RX Vega 56 are shown, but at no time are the RX Vega Nano mentioned, which should already be on the market, of which we have seen some reviews in the US media, but that it has never hit the market, since its availability was announced shortly before the summer.

AMD has already said several times that its priority passes through Vega in 7nm, but for the professional sector and that the next graphics will be based on Navi in ​​7nm, being the first ones destined for the low range, according to all the rumors that have appeared. We will see if all this is finally confirmed. There is the possibility that as ASRock has just reached the graphics card market, if new graphics arrived, they took a little longer to arrive for this manufacturer. Who knows.
