ASRock Introduces Two Phantom Gaming D 8G OC Models Based on the AMD RX 5700 Series

Introduced ASRock Phantom Gaming D 8G OC graphics cards based on RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 graphics, with slight overclocking.

Although various reports point to a shortage of RX 5700 XT graphics, a new model has just been announced. ASRock has presented two Phantom Gaming models based on Navi architecture silicon. Specifically, the RX 5700 XT Phantom Gaming D 8G OC and the RX 5700 Phantom Gaming D 8G OC have been presented. The most characteristic thing is the design and that it makes use of ARGB lighting.

The ASRock company is mostly known for its motherboards, which offer good quality and features for a reasonable price. About two years ago the company decided to jump into the graphics card market, expanding the offer. Currently only offers silicon-based graphics from AMD.

Two new Phantom Gaming models based on AMD Navi

The RX 5700 XT model works at a base frequency of 1 690MHz, the gaming frequency is 1 835Mz and the Boost mode reaches 1 945MHz. On the other hand, the RX 5700 works at a frequency of 1MHz, in gaming mode it reaches 610MHz and in Boost mode it reaches 1Mz. The two models have 725GB GDDR1 with a bandwidth of 750bits.

We see that both models have minimal overclocking, so they should not be very expensive models. The Navi graphics are excellent for 1440p gaming, with few exceptions. They have become a great alternative to NVIDIA's RTX 2070s.

ASRock has installed a heatsink that occupies 2.7 PCI slots and a backplate has been integrated to avoid damage to the graphics due to weight. Note that both models make use of 0dB Silent Cooling technology, which prevents the fans from working if there is no load.

These two models have three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and one HDMI 2.0. A power supply of at least 700W is recommended for both graphics cards. This graphics card also supports ASRock Tweak that allows performance adjustments and fan speed control.

It has not been specified by ASRock when they hit the market or the price of these graphics.
