ASUS has introduced the ASUS RoG Poseidon GTX 1080 Ti graphics card, a graphics card that features a heatsink that allows for air and liquid cooling.
New versions of the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti are arriving, this time with the first hybrid heatsink on the market. It was ASUS who developed the ASUS RoG Poseidon GTX 1080 Ti graphics card with a hybrid heatsink, combining air cooling and liquid cooling. This graphics card does not carry the entire All-in-One system, it only has the internal liquid cooling tubes of the radiator, the rest we will have to put ourselves. It is intended for computers that already have custom liquid cooling.
ASUS has reported that this graphics card works at a temperature somewhat higher than the STRIX by air, but only when the graphics card does not make use of liquid cooling, when it is added to the water circuit, it drops considerably. When it works by air it is working at 75ºC and when it is cooled by 'water', the temperature drops to 50ºC. The components have a cooling coating called DirectCU H2O of the latest generation. Furthermore, this graphics card has an infinity mirror on the ASUS logo and the LEDs are controlled by AURA Sync.
This graphics card has a DirectCU H2O system, which allows it to be used with air or liquid cooling. It has a G1 / 4 ”water block terminal design, allowing it to be coupled to a custom cooling system with a wide variety of accessories. Patented Wing-Blade IP5X fans allow maximum airflow and longer fan life. ASUS Fanconnect II enables hybrid system controlled fan headers for optimized system cooling. It features ASUS Aura RGB lighting and syncs using ASUS Aura Sync RGB allowing customization and syncing with hardware.
