ASUS announces its new Z790, H770 and B760 motherboards

Today, ASUS announces the expansion of the motherboard family with new Z790 models and numerous variants equipped with the H770 and B760 chipsets. At the high-end, ASUS introduces the ROG Strix and ASUS Prime Z790 alongside H770 and B760 motherboards from the ROG Strix, TUF Gaming,

They also introduce a BIOS feature that allows the 13th generation Intel core Raptor Lake to unleash the power, keeping temperatures under control. They do this by removing the restrictions that limit CPU throttling behavior, but setting a CPU temperature limit of 90° Celsius. Thus, the limit will be set by the cooling capacity that the user gives to the CPU. ASUS MultiCore Enhancement will be available for users of all overclockable ASUS Z790 motherboards. The comparable ASUS Performance Enhancement option will be introduced on ASUS H770 and B760 motherboards.

These high-end boards are presented as a luxury option for overclockable CPUs of the K series, Alder Lake generations and raptor lake. Two new ROG Strix Z790 motherboards are ready for any situation: ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WiFi and ROG Strix Z790-H Gaming WiFi. Support for DDR5 memory ensures that the CPU has sufficient bandwidth.

Both motherboards incorporate a PCIe® 5.0 x16 slot prepared for the highest-end graphics cards. The Prime Z790M-Plus also has three slots for M.2 SSDs, a header that allows a Thunderbolt 4 front connection in compatible cases.

The new H770 boards offer high-end features at mid-range prices. Both the TUF Gaming H770-Pro WiFi and Prime H770-Plus D4 offer plenty of PCIe lanes, for users who don't want to overclock their system.

The TUF Gaming H770-Pro WiFi has the performance and reliability required for gaming rigs. Its 2,5 Gbit Intel Ethernet connection and WiFi 6 ensure a quality network connection. For users who prefer the DDR4 format for its lower price, ASUS offers the Prime H770-Plus D4.

Asus introduces new B760 boards for Intel's 13th generation

ASUS B760 series motherboards are presented as the best value for money option. They are presented as powerful platforms despite their limitations. With ROG Strix B760-F Gaming WiFi, there are heatsinks, a pre-installed I/O shield, and full-coverage M.2 heatsinks. The power supply, power supply subsystem, and cooling make it the most powerful model in the ASUS B760 series. Its support for DDR5 ensures that the new 13th generation Intel CPUs can use the higher bandwidth of the memory; and a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot allows you to use a high-end graphics card.

ASUS has gone to great lengths to simplify system building with the ROG Strix B760-F Gaming WiFi. The PCIe Slot Q-Release button allows you to quickly and safely remove a graphics card. The ASUS M.2 Q-Latch system ensures that users never lose a screw from the M.2 SSD deep inside the case again. Lastly, the Q-LED diagnostic matrix can make troubleshooting easier.

Those who want a compact Mini-ITX motherboard, ASUS has for them the ROG Strix B760-I Gaming WiFiion. This model fits in the palm of your hand and offers high raw performance. It allows for a 13th generation Intel CPU, two DDR5 RAM modules, two fast PCIe 4.0 SSDs, and a graphics card in the PCIe 5.0 x16 slot.

For those who prefer full-size hardware, ASUS offers the TUF Gaming B760-Plus WiFi D4. This ATX motherboard has everything you need for a gaming-grade rig. Its PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, WiFi 6 technology and a wide range of USB ports will meet the expectations of gamers. Those who prefer a microATX variant have the TUF Gaming B760M-Plus WiFi D4 or the TUF Gaming B760M-Plus D4consider. These three models support DDR4 RAM. ASUS will also offer Prime series B760 ATX and microATX motherboards for all-rounders.
