ASUS RoG NVLink for NVIDIA GeForce RTX Graphics Cards

The ASUS NVLink bridge is revealed, the RoG NVLink that will allow two NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards to be interconnected.

A few hours ago we saw the NVLink bridge developed by EVGA for NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards that use this type of connector instead of the SLI connector. This new connector is characterized by interconnecting the two GPUs and the GDDR6 memories of the two graphics cards as if it were a single unit. ASUS has now introduced its first NVLink bridge for the new gaming graphics cards that have an aggressive design characteristic of the company.

ASUS Introduces RoG NVLink Bridge for New NVIDIA GeForce RTX

This interconnection bridge of two graphics cards is characterized by offering a bandwidth that can reach 50GB / s through the full duplex system compared to the 2GB / s offered by the SLI bridge.

Regarding the new ASUS bridge, we must highlight that it has a typical Republic of Gamers design and on the top it has the brand's logo covered by a piece of methacrylate and has RGB LED lighting. This bridge will be available in a separation of three and four PCIe slots and will be fully compatible with the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti.

As you would not expect otherwise, this special bridge has Aura Sync compatibility that allows the RGB LED lighting to be synchronized with each and every one of the ASUS components installed in the system. Among the different modes there is one that allows you to synchronize with the rhythm of the music or the temperature of the processor.

If GeForce RTX graphics cards are expensive, this bridge could not be less expensive, since according to leaks it will have a price of around € 89, something that if we compare it with the prices of NVIDIA graphics is a low price although little attractive.
