All ASUS RoG Z490 motherboards for Intel Comet Lake-S leaked
We still do not have data on when the Intel Comet Lake-S processors, although they should not be long in coming. This is clear to us from the number of motherboards that are leaking to these processors. The latest leak is from the entire range of ASUS RoG Z490 motherboards. Specifically, 7 models of ASUS motherboards have been filtered for the new Intel processors.
Asus ROG Strix Z490-E, Asus ROG Strix Z490-F, Asus ROG Strix Z490-A, ROG Strix Z490-H, Asus ROG Strix Z490-G (WiFi), Asus ROG Strix Z490-G and ROG models have been leaked Strix Z490-I. All of these motherboards have 14 VRM phases, except for the mini-ITX model which has 10 VRM phases and the RoG Strix Z490-E has 16 VRM phases.

Leaked ASUS RoG motherboards for Intel Comet Lake-S
As we see, ASUS motherboards have a large number of VRM phases. This is necessary because the Comet Lake-S will arrive with up to 10 cores and consumption skyrocketed. On the rest of the elements, a complete table has been filtered that we will leave you, so as not to give you much trouble.
Basically the differences between models is the connectivity and the dissipation system of the chipset and VRMs. It is interesting how all motherboards have the SupremeFX S1220A audio chip. The Intel I225-V @ 2.5Gb, 2 M.2 ports and 6 SATA @ 6.0Gbps ports have been included in all motherboards. It should be noted that the Z490-I mini-ITX motherboard has only 4 SATA ports.
Something very interesting about these motherboards is that they have a 6-layer PCB, except for the mini-ITX model that would have 8 layers. This has generated rumors about a possible compatibility of these boards to the PCIe 4.0 standard, although they work under PCIe 3.0 natively. There is no data at this time that allows us to affirm this, so we are going to think that this option will not exist.
