ASUS unveils its custom AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX GPUs

The ASUS brand has announced its custom models TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT and Radeon RX 7900 XTX. These are the first two graphics cards in its new AMD Radeon RX 7900 Series product line. With more stream processors and higher-bandwidth memory interfaces than the previous generation, these GPU models offer higher performance and power efficiency for enjoy games in 4K resolution at high frame rate per second.

They are based on AMD RDNA 3 architecture, which incorporates AMD's advanced chiplet design. This provides you up to 54% more performance per watt over AMD RDNA 2 architecture. There's also increased AI performance for 2,7 times more performance than AI 3, and second-generation ray tracing technology.

The TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX, with a size of 3,63 slots; offers 6.144 stream processors. it is designed for those looking for high bandwidth and abundant VRAM reserves with its 24 GB of GDDR6 memory and a 384-bit memory interface.

A new cooling design allows the GPU to perform at its best with 22,8% higher heat dissipation. A Dual BIOS switch allows users to choose between performance and silent modes, or they can get to manual settings with ASUS GPU Tweak III software. Its connectivity consists of a port HDMI 2.1, and a trio of DisplayPort™ 2.1 ports. The TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card uses three 8-pin power connectors.

In the case of the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT, it offers key improvements over the last generation RX 6900 XT. These improvements are a larger reserve of 20 GB of GDDR6 RAM, 5.376 stream processors, and a larger 320-bit memory interface.

It has the same total board power as the RX 6900 XT, but it also runs cooler under load while producing similar noise levels, and offers higher performance.

The TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX and TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards will be available at partner retailers from the end of December.
