ASUS RoG Strix and TUF models based on the AMD RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT leaked
ASUS RoG Strix and TUF images based on AMD Navi @ 5700nm architecture RX 5700 and RX 7 XT graphics appear.
Between the end of the month and the beginning of August, the custom models of the AMD Navi should arrive. Gaming graphics cards based on 7nm will have models customized by different assemblers. Some days ago XFX model leaked, now several ASUS models have been leaked. The top-end RoG Strix model and the TUF model have been leaked so far.
The AMD RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 assembler models use the blower type heatsink, which is not the best in the world. These new filtered models will have three fans, which will allow to control the temperature very well. Being cooler graphics, their performance should improve and so should their durability. Regarding the frequencies, it seems difficult that there is much overclocking in the Navi, since they are at the limit.
Navi-based ASUS RoG Strix and TUF images leaked
With the images, a possible availability date for the ASUS RoG Strix RX 5700 has also been leaked, which will be August 16. The graphics card is already in the Hardware.info offices and that is why we have the first images. This allows us to see that the heatsink is 2.5 slots, it has two 8-pin PCIe connectors and the fans can be individually removed.
We will also have the ASUS TUF RX 5700 (XT), which will arrive on August 23 according to the leak. This model will have 2 PCIe slots and it will be simpler, being a cheaper model. It will have three high-performance fans to control the temperature and it appears that it will not have RGB.
Finally, on August 30, the ASUS RX 5700 (XT) Dual models would arrive. This model will be the simplest and cheapest with the DUAL EVO heatsink, so it will have two fans to control the temperature.
