The first benchmark of the AMD Ryzen 3 2300X processor is shown, which is postulated as an alternative in price and performance to the Intel Core i5.
Currently on the market we can find several second generation AMD Ryzen processors in the market, along with the Raven Ridge APUs. It's clear that not all second-gen Ryzen processors have hit the market. The company has wanted these processors to come out in a staggered manner, to avoid the first generation stock problems. Well, now the Ryzen 3 2300X benchmark has been leaked and it looks pretty good, to be fooled.

This processor is clearly designed for entry-level and mid-range gaming equipment, since it is a quad-core processor and four processing threads. It works at a base frequency of 3.5GHz and a Boost mode of 4.2GHz, being able to reach 4.315GHz, through the automatic XFR2. The processor has a TDP of 65W. It will come to replace the Ryzen 3 1300X and would be around € 130, approximately. A real bargain.
Who will suffer with the arrival of this processor, will be Intel, since this is shown as direct competition from the Core i5 processors. Those who will enjoy these processors are users with tight budgets, who want a great processor for a fairly affordable price, capable of competing directly with Intel solutions.
Regarding the benchmarks, the Biostar X370 Racing motherboard has been used, due to the XFR2 issue, since the X370 chipset would in principle be the only one that would support the second generation XFR. The motherboards with second generation chipset will not give a problem. Surely with the arrival of this processor, new chipsets and cheaper motherboards will arrive.
