BIOSTAR presents the simple X470MH motherboard for office automation and little else
Announced by BIOSTAR the X470MH motherboard, an extremely simple motherboard for office automation and little else.
Within the motherboard market there are options for all tastes and all budgets. One of the manufacturers that produces simpler motherboards, without RGB and without unnecessary elements is BIOSTAR. Well, this manufacturer has announced the BIOSTAR X470MH motherboard. It is an extremely simple and trimmed solution, especially designed for office automation, entertainment and similar systems.
It really is a very interesting solution to install a second generation APU or a Ryzen 3 2000. Some Ryzen 5 2000 could be mounted without problems, but not much else either. The reason is that the VRMs on this motherboard do not have a heatsink and if we swing excessively, we can make the VRMs overheat and we can be left without a motherboard.
BIOSTAR Announces X470MH Motherboard
This new BIOSTAR motherboard already natively supports Ryzen 3000 @ 7nm processors. If we want to install one of these, do not go beyond the Ryzen 5 3600X, because the VRMs are not dissipated.
The motherboard has a micro-ATX format, thinking of compact systems. In addition, the motherboard has a USB 3.1 port, which allows transferring files at a speed of 5Gbps. It has a PCIe M.2 ports for NVMe SSD drives.
This motherboard has support for 4K video through a HDMI port integrated into the motherboard. In addition, this motherboard has a VGA connector, to offer greater compatibility. It is a connector that is no longer in use, but there are still monitors with this type of connector. It has Realtek GbE LAN connectivity, to offer high speed internet connection.
Something very interesting is that the motherboard has only two DDR4 RAM sockets, supporting a maximum of 32GB @ 3200MHz. Although the chipset supports overclocking, we do not recommend overclocking in any way.
Regarding the release date of this motherboard or the price has not been disclosed. Everything indicates that it will be very economical, allowing to create very simple and affordable systems.
