CaseLabs files for bankruptcy over Donald Trump's policies
Announced the bankruptcy of CaseLabs, a prestigious American computer chassis company goes bankrupt due to the trade war waged by Donald Trump.
Bad news comes from the United States and it is that the CaseLabs company, known for its high-quality chassis and performance, has announced bankruptcy today. The note was published this past dawn and has caught the entire industry. The company known for its premium chassis is liquidating stock to minimize damage.
CaseLabs unexpectedly announces bankruptcy.
Although the company is not known in Europra, in the United States it is considered a great manufacturer and has great prestige. Although their chassis are of great quality, the problem lies in the high prices making their audience quite limited and in the end focusing on a limited audience has caused this problem. Other premium chassis manufacturers like Lian Li have launched inexpensive lines under the Lancool sub-brand.
If the case is quite problematic, it is no less paradigmatic than the press release issued by CaseLabs blames directly the trade war that the United States has started against China and Europe. Thus, this seems to be only the first victim of many of the policies of the absurd Trump.
'We are very saddened to announce that CaseLabs and its parent company will be closed permanently. We have been forced to declare bankruptcy and liquidation. Tariffs have played an important role by raising prices by almost 80% (in part due to associated shortages), deeply affecting our profit margins. The default of a large account adds a lot to the problem. It hit us at the worst possible time. We approached a possible agreement that would allow us to continue and persevere through these difficult times, but in the end it did not happen.
We are doing our best to ship as many orders as we can, but we will not be able to ship all of them. All parts orders must be shipped, but we will not be able to complete shipments of accumulated orders. We are very sorry for what is happening. Our user community has been very devoted to us and it is horrible to think that we have let any of you down. There are over 20.000 of you and we are so grateful for all the support we have received over the years. It was a great journey we took together and we are grateful to have had that opportunity.
We understand that there is likely to be a great deal of anger, it is understandable and we sincerely apologize. We looked at all the options we had. This is certainly not what we imagine. Some things were out of our control. We thought we had a way to go ahead, but it failed and we deactivated the website so that it wouldn't keep receiving any more orders.
It was a privilege to serve you and we are very sorry that things turned out this way. '
