China to jump to 14nm in 2020
This year the trade war between the United States and China has been intense, cooling down in recent months with agreements between the two countries. The reason is that China is rapidly advancing in the development of its own technologies and products. To stop depending on the United States is the great objective of China and they are achieving it at a better rate than expected.
The efforts of the Chinese giant will continue to be important in 2020. They want to produce their own processors, DRAM memories, NAND Flash memories and any chip. But the biggest jump will be in this coming year when the 14nm manufacturing process is used for most products. Also beginning the mass production of DRAM, NAND Flash and CPU memories, among others.

A process that has been under development for years with significant aid from the government. Nearly a decade of investment, research and development are expected to deliver first results in 2020. All because the 8-inch and 12-inch wafer factories are ready.
Some outlets comment that the Chinese government and companies are already working on plans to promote semiconductor development. They seek to meet the demand for solutions for 5G technology and the IoT. It is also expected to meet the demand for products for NAND Flash memory, DRAM, CPU and analog circuits.

China's big semiconductor companies are expected to make a significant leap in some areas in 2020. They will make the jump to 14nm for the CPU production, thus equating itself with Intel in lithographs. Not surprisingly, the 14nm from China for processors are nowhere near as polished as Intel's process.
Perhaps where they impact the most is in the DRAM and NAND Flash memory market. The production is expected to become massive and increase even throughout the year. This will undoubtedly impact the forecasts of the main manufacturers, predictably causing a downward price adjustment.
