Colorful iGame GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Vulkan Advanced heatsinkless for custom liquid cooling systems

Heatsinkless Colorful iGame GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Vulkan Advanced introduced with custom liquid cooling systems in mind.

The new graphics card that Colorful has presented is surprising. The company that is known for making high-quality graphics cards has presented a new NVIDIA GeForce RTX. What makes it different from other solutions on the market is that this graphic does not have a heatsink. No manufacturer to date has presented a graph with these characteristics. It seems that this graphic has been developed especially for users who want to develop or have a custom liquid cooling system.

Colorful presents the first graphics on the market without a heatsink

The company has officially unveiled the Colorful iGame GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Vulkan Advanced. Inside the box we will only find the bare PCB, without heatsink. Clearly the company launches it for those who use liquid cooling systems. Users who bet on the RL don't need the heatsink at all and can save themselves quite a bit of money.

For a custom liquid cooling system, we must consider the model. As a solution to avoid compatibility issues, this graphic uses the original NVIDIA PCB. This facilitates compatibility with the liquid cooling blocks on the market for custom systems.

This chart uses NVIDIA reference frequencies, a must for those who use the reference models. For this reason, the Colorful graph operates at a base frequency of 1350MHz and can reach 1545MHz in Boost mode. It has 11GB GDDR6 working at a frequency of 1750MHz.

In this case, we do not know when this graph will hit the market and what its price will be. As it does not have a heatsink it should be cheaper. What we don't know is what will happen in case we have a problem during the installation. We will see if other manufacturers on the market will launch a solution similar to this.
