# Computex2018: EVGA Introduces Closed Refrigeration System Based on Liquid Nitrogen
Innovative presentation at Computex 2018 by EVGA, who has shown an advanced extreme cooling system, which is more efficient than other systems for liquid nitrogen.
One of the brands or companies most interested in and committed to overclocking is EVGA, which has several professional overclockers who work with liquid nitrogen (LN2) to perform overclocking. Well, EVGA, in collaboration with Vince "KINGPIN" Lucido and Illya "TiN" Tsemenko, have developed an extreme cooling system, which they have called EVGA Roboclocker. This system is a closed circuit based on LN2, which is semi-closed, which facilitates work with extreme overclocking, which can be complex.
EVGA presents the LN2018-based EVGA Roboclocker system at Computex 2.
The Roboclocker solution offers two important advantages or improvements over the traditional liquid nitrogen system based on a 'pot'. The first is that a large amount of liquid nitrogen can be saved, allowing the nitrogen gas to be stored in a secondary tank. This allows larger LN2 tanks to have a longer usage time and at the same time collects nitrogen gas, which can be recycled.
The second improvement or benefit is that, the performance of the LN2 refrigeration can be increased in terms of temperature improvements, allowing LN2 to be released while the benchmarks are passed, allowing users to focus on the work of the adjustments and not be pending of add LN2, to control the temperature
This extreme cooling system has been active for several months and has achieved great results, setting several world records. The system allows to control the temperature of a single processor and up to four graphics cards simultaneously. The parameters of the cooling system can be controlled by a laptop, which can be controlled wirelessly.
Clearly, this system is not designed for the ordinary consumer, it is intended for a minority and specialized audience, but what really matters is that the company is open to overclocking and favors this practice. That EVGA is a brand fond of overclocking is not a secret, you just need to see the solutions they present, which have special systems and components thinking about this practice.
