# Computex2018: Gelid presents Sirroco heatsink and Radiant and Radiant D fans

Presented at Computex 2018, a heatsink and two fan models from Gelid, of which no launch dates or market price have been given.

Computex 2018 does not stop for a moment and there are many news that are coming from China. Gelid, a manufacturer that offers interesting cooling solutions, but is especially known for its RAM memory, has presented a new heatsink and a set of fans. Specifically, the company has presented the Gelid Sirroco cooler and the Gelid Radiant and Radian D fans. The Gelid Sirroco heatsink makes use of one of the Radiant D fans.

Gelid presents a heatsink and two fan models at Computex 2018.

Gelid's Sirroco heatsink is a tower-type heatsink, with a fairly innovative design and with one of the company's new fans, which it has also lent at the event. The tower-type design has slightly offset aluminum fins to avoid incompatibilities with the RAM. It has six nickel-plated copper heatpipes, which make direct contact with the processor, through a large copper base.

The heatpipes transport the heat to the aluminum fins and the fan is responsible for dissipating the heat. The Radiant D features saw blade edges to optimize airflow and minimize sound output, all via a dual ball bearing bushing, four-pin PWM control, and nine diode RGB LED lighting. It has a capacity to cool a TDP of up to 200W, allowing compatibility with the most popular Intel and AMD processors on the market.

Regarding the Radiant and Radiant D fans, which are 120mm in size. Both models are PWM, have blades with a sawtooth edge, to increase air flow and reduce noise, it has RGB LED lighting through nine RGB LEDs. Operating speeds, airflow, or loudness have not been specified.
