i9-9900KS has 4.0GHz base frequency and 127W TDP
Thanks to ASUS we know what is the base frequency and the TDP of the Intel Core i9-9900KS processor that will arrive next October.
The new Intel Core i9-9900KS processor is scheduled to be launched next October. It will be Intel's first 14nm ++ node-based processor to have all four cores operating at 5.0GHz across all cores. Little else is known for sure about this new processor that wants to compete with the AMD Ryzen 3000. Now the TDP and base frequency have been revealed.
Regarding this Core i9-9900KS, we can say that they are selected Core i9-9900K processors. Currently the 9900K can go up to 5.0GHz on a single core, so this special version will be based on the best. Initially it was said that Intel would only sell it to OEM assemblers, but in the end it will be sold in a generalist way.
New Intel Core i9-9900KS processor data
In addition to the Core i9-9900K we have the Core i9-9900KF with the iGPU disabled to adjust the TDP a bit. This new processor 9900KS from Intel will have a higher base frequency than the previous two and all cores will reach 5.0GHz. Note that we are talking about 8 cores and 16 threads in a lithography that should have been retired two years ago.
We know the new data thanks to ASUS, which has published the first UEFI BIOS to support this processor. Within the data reflected on the manufacturer's website, we see that this new Intel Core i9-9900KS will work at a base frequency of 4.0GHz and will have a TDP of 127W.

Remember that the Core i9-9900K has a base frequency of 3.6GHz and the TDP is 95W. Increasing the frequency just over 10% means increasing the thermal transfer by more than 30%. This tells us that the processor will be quite difficult to cool. Possibly with the Noctua or Cryorig more billet it can be refrigerated well. To be safe, an RL AIO with a radiator of at least 240mm would be an idea.
