Years ago the Cryorig brand appeared and stood out for its unexpected quality. After more than a year without news, Cryorig unveils its R5 heatsink.
Cryorig news has come out of nowhere. It was given for lost or abandoned. Good for not being able to maintain or not meeting quality expectations. But they have come out and they do so with a heatsink that they hope will live up to their name and brand quality.
Cryotig returns to the market with a new heatsink
The Cryorig R5 heatsink is an air-cooled system with dimensions of 140 x 97.8 x 162.8 mm high. In it we find a radiator made up of 48 aluminum fins traversed by six 6 mm thick copper heat pipes. These go to a nickel-plated copper base to prevent corrosion.
The radiator features two 140mm Cryorig XF140 fans in a push-pull configuration. Each fan spins between 700 and 1300 RPM, generating an airflow of up to 76 CFM with a static pressure of 1.44 mmH2O. All of this is achieved with a low noise level of 19 to 23 dBA at maximum speed. This entire setup weighs 892 grams and is capable of supporting the latest Intel and AMD CPUs with a TDP of up to 200W. The availability and price of the Cryorig R5 cooler have not yet been announced.
Additionally, Cryorig has announced its Crona X and Crona S fans. Both work between 400 and 1700 RPM generating an air flow of up to 60.6 CFM with a static pressure of 2,65mmH2O and a loudness of 16,5 to 29,7 dBA. . The difference between the two is color and that they include RGB lighting for those who like to have a bright PC. As with the R5 heatsink, Cryorig has not announced when they will hit the market or at what price.
