Colorful shows off its V-Color DDR5-6333 memory with RGB
V-Color memory brand from manufacturer Colorful will soon launch an overclocked DDR5 memory kit with 16GB capacity per module. This memory with a controllable ARGB strip will be Colorful's DDR5-6333, it will have a visual color design on top, and its transfer speed will be 6333 MT / s.
This speed far exceeds the JEDEC specifications of 4800. In addition, this newly announced memory will have a voltage of 1,1 V, so no change in power supply will be required to reach its maximum speed.
Colorful will bring us DDR5 memory and with ARGB
Colorful's next-gen DDR5-5 DDR6333 memory will feature Intel XMP 3.0 overclocking profiles, plus integrated PMIC voltage control. The two functions will have a direct impact on the overclocking ability of the memory.
V-Color's DDR5 memory will look different than your current DDR4 RGB PRO design, which is available with speeds up to 4133 MT / s at 1.35V. Next-generation DDR5 memory from major manufacturers is currently shipped to distributors and retailers. It should be available once the Intel 12th Gen Core series officially goes on sale, which is on November 4.
Hopefully, as with new technologies and new protocols, during its first months or even years, its efficiency is not fully used by the accompanying software and hardware. Those who adopt DDR5 in its first months or years of life may find that it does not offer as much speed and efficiency as DDR4 memory already does. But it is its future possibilities that will make DDR5 the memory standard that enthusiasts and experts want to get the most out of their equipment or because it will be the format that can obtain the best results in Artificial Intelligence among other tasks.
