Filtered the possible dissipation of the RTX 4090 Ti

Images of what could be the Nvidia RTX 4090 Ti heatsink have been leaked on the Chinese Chiphell forum. This photo would reveal them to be similar in design to Nvidia's RTX 30 series with a few key design improvements.

To begin with, the cooler on Nvidia's RTX 4090 Ti is very large , if the photo is accurate. Its thickness would be equivalent to several PCIe slots, more likely three than the two that have become the norm for the most powerful GPUs recently. It would also likely come with large fans and a much larger motherboard.

In case there were any doubts, the RTX 4090 Ti will be especially big

Looking at the image below, we can see that the Nvidia RTX 4090 Ti motherboard now covers the core components and GPU memory. It does so much like the recently released ASUS RTX 3080 Noctua OC Edition graphics card. This design change should help reduce Nvidia's memory temperature with its RTX 40-series graphics cards, a shortcoming of many current generation RTX 30-series GPU models.

Overall, the design of Nvidia's RTX 4090 Founders Edition appears to be very similar to its counterparts in the current generation's RTX 30 series. This makes sense given the capabilities of those coolers. It's highly likely that this larger size will be accompanied by greater cooling capacity and requirements, which will contribute to the high power demands of this RTX 4000 series that have been rumored since last year.

Recent rumors suggest that Nvidia's flagship RTX 40 series card will launch with a thermal design power (TDP) of between 450 and 600W. This would require Nvidia to design a larger and more powerful heatsink, like the one we're seeing. The leaked heatsink design appears robust enough for the demanding workload these graphics cards will require, as they are designed to prioritize raw power over efficiency and optimized performance. As with any leak, it's important to note that this shouldn't be taken as official information, but there are sources and media outlets that support this report.

Recent rumors suggest that Nvidia's RTX 40 series could launch in mid-July . That's in two months. If true, it would make sense that they already have the foundations and molds for mass production.
