CORSAIR Launches iCUE LINK Component Ecosystem

The CORSAIR brand has today introduced some of its products that will enter a new generation of cooling components that launch the iCUE LINK ecosystem. The idea of this ecosystem is to be able to connect all devices through a single standard cable that carries both power and data. Thus, iCUE LINK wants to transform PC mounting and cable management.
In this initial phase of products, iCUE LINK RGB CPU coolers, iCUE LINK QX RGB fans, and the iCUE LINK System Hub will be released. iCUE LINK seeks to offer easier installation Reduce cabling complexity so designing a PC build is easier and more affordable than ever.
First devices with Corsair iCUE Link coming soon to market
The iCUE LINK ecosystem was first seen at Computex 2023. This system dispenses with the multiple types of connectors, controllers, and cable nests that have become commonplace on today's PCs. Thus, CORSAIR iCUE LINK uses a universal connector for all its components.
In addition, each device connects directly to the next, so it is created by creating a series of linked devices that connect to the System Hub with a single cable that supplies power and data to all of them. First up are the iCUE LINK RGB CPU coolers, which offer fantastic cooling performance and brilliant visuals. Available in sizes 240mm, 280mm, 360mm and 420mm respectively. Concealed wiring, with connections relocated to the end of the radiator, means there are no distracting cables around the pump head.
CORSAIR shows off its future with iCUE LINK compatible devices
QX RGB fans are also available as stand-alone products, in 120mm and 140mm sizes, as multi-fan starter kits or single-fan expansions. They spin at 2.400 RPM on their 120mm model, and 2.000 RPM on their 140mm model. Both have precise PWM control, and offer powerful cooling along with their low noise level and great longevity thanks to their new magnetic dome bearing. Fully customizable in CORSAIR iCUE software, 34 RGB LEDs per fan enable various lighting modes, including iCUE LINK's exclusive new Time Warp, a precisely timed lighting effect that creates the illusion of the fans being frozen in position fixed.

Ultimately, the iCUE LINK System Hub is what ties it all together. connect and control up to 14 iCUE LINK devices at once. Measuring just 2×2” and magnetically attachable to virtually any metal surface on the chassis, the System Hub manages the entire ecosystem. iCUE LINK System Hubs are included with every CPU cooler RGB and QX RGB starter kit. They are also available as a standalone purchase.
The products introduced today are just the first phase of a sprawling ecosystem that will expand with new devices in the third quarter of this year. Custom cooling components will be included. CORSAIR is also looking into the possibility of license the iCUE LINK ecosystem and its proprietary connector to broaden your potential consumer base and create a unified standard in the free-standing component space.
