Running The Divison on the Intel HD 630 iGPU, with significant restrictions
Demonstration video allows us to see how Intel's HD 630 iGPU moves The Divison 2 game, yes, with important limitations.
The integrated graphics in Intel processors are usually quite poor, being one more solution for graphics and multimedia output than anything else. They are a solution to get out of the way and if they are compared with the AMD APUs the difference is even more abysmal. But it seems that the miracle has been worked. A video of The Division 2 running on an Intel HD 630 has been posted.
The Division 2 running on an Intel HD 630 iGPU
We do not know if this has been thanks to the power that the iGPU hides or if it is due to a great optimization of Ubisoft. Despite everything, we can see how The Division 2 @ 30FPS runs. For this test, the Intel Core i5 7500 processor operating at a frequency of 3.4GHz combined with 16GB DDR4 @ 2400MHz was used.
Okay, the game has not been executed in the best possible performance. In order to run the game, it was necessary to lower the graphic quality to a minimum, it was run in windowed mode and in 720p resolution. It is possible to keep more or less at 30 FPS or more, something quite interesting. When the action happens indoors, it manages to pass 40 FPS.
Obviously we won't enjoy the game's graphical quality, but it's a good solution for those with a modest team. It will allow any game to be moved without the need for a dedicated graphic. The iGPU is in the XNUMXth generation processors onwards.
