Lenovo Employee Confirms New NVIDIA Graphics Will Be GTX 11 Series

Lenovo worker, during E3 2018, accidentally leaked the name of the new NVIDIA GTX 11 Series graphics family.

We still have no news of the new NVIDIA graphics cards. When it seemed that everything is in order to launch the new family of graphics after the summer, the setback of the return of more than 300.000 GPUs, has been a blow for the company, which has forced to modify its plans. Right now there is no more data on the next graphics architecture, not even the name of the architecture, speculating Ampere, Turin and Volta. Well, thanks to the gaffe of a Lenovo worker, the NVIDIA GTX 1180 is confirmed.

Lenovo employee confirms the NVIDIA GTX 1180.

The Lenovo employee gaffe at E3 2018, which appears to have been overlooked by channel member Brainbread, who appears to be unaware of this and does not address the issue. It clearly refers to the NVIDIA GTX 11 Series, so we have already eliminated one of the mysteries around these graphics.

We see in the video one of the Lenovo computers that are factory assembled. The worker affirms that the model in the video has a GTX 1060, but it is expected that this equipment will house GTX 11 Series graphics cards. The gaffe is at minute 1:35, which we leave at the end of the post, starting seconds before it reveals this information.

Less gives a stone, it is clear, but it is evident that knowing how these graphics cards will be named does not matter much to us, what we all want to know are the characteristics of the new NVIDIA solutions, their performance in games and most importantly, what will be the price of these graphics cards.
