EVGA Announces New GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid GPU
Today it is clear that the best graphics card for high-end gaming is the GTX 1080 Ti. For around 800 euros it gets what no GPU destined for the global market had done, stable 60 fps at 4K resolution. But this raw power of the GP102-350 chip can be further increased by overclocking and today EVGA has announced an ideal model for enthusiasts in this field, the GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid GPU.

This model incorporates EVGA's new unique ICX cooling technology, through a 120mm fan connected to the GPU, the graphics cooling takes place in a hybrid way (by RL and by air). On the other hand, like all GPUs with an ICX system, this model also incorporates additional temperature sensors on its PCB, the purpose of which is to be able to control overheating in the memories or in the VRM.
As for the improvement that the overclock that comes from the factory this 1080 Ti will mean, we do not have data to confirm it, but the benchmarks of this model are falling. For now what we can know is that unlike the reference model, which comes at frequencies of 1480MHz / 1582MHz, the memories of this assembler model will run at 1556MHz / 1670 MHz.
