Far Cry 5 and Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare moved to 8K resolution thanks to two NVIDIA Titan RTX

User publishes two videos on YouTube playing FarCry 5 and Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare at 8K resolution driven by two NVIDIA Titan RTXs.

4K resolution has yet to be standardized and some are already thinking about the next level, 8K resolution. The YouTuber 'ThirtyIR' has published two videos with gameplays at 8K resolution with graphic quality at all times. For these videos, he used the games FarCry 5 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. This has been possible thanks to two NVIDIA Titan RTX connected via NVLink. The truth is that the video is a real pass.

Two NVIDIA Titan RTX to move games at 8K resolution

For this demonstration we have used two Titan RTX working at a frequency of 2100MHz connected by NVLink (we remember that the SLI no longer exists). To avoid bottlenecks it has been mounted on a system with the Intel Core i7 6950X processor. This processor has ten cores and twenty threads operating at a frequency of 4.3GHz obtained by overclocking. This monstrosity is finished with 64GB DDR4 @ 3200MHz.

The FarCry 5 game has been moved to 8K @ 40FPS resolution, which is impressive. Everything indicates that by adjusting the graphic quality a little we could reach 60FPS. On the other hand, the Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare moved between 50-60FPS also at an 8K resolution. The demonstration of the two games is amazing and the quality of both games at this graphic quality is high.

This serves only to delight us visually, since no one has an interest in playing at 8K and very few at 4K resolutions. This without taking into account that the two Titan RTX are worth more than 5.000 euros without counting the NVLink bridge. We must add the motherboard, the processor and the RAM, thus touching the 10.000 euros of system. We imagine that this user is a designer or developer and has published this video as a hobby.
