Filtered the frequencies of the Intel Core i9 9900K, Core i7 9700K and Core i5 9600K processors
The working frequencies of the three Intel Whiskey Lake processors are filtered, whose maximum representative will be the Core i9 9900K with eight cores and sixteen threads.
Intel's ninth-generation processors are close to hitting the market. These new processors would be part of a new Whiskey Lake architecture based on a very refined 14nm manufacturing processor, which is based on the Skylake architecture, with an improved manufacturing process that allows the development of a processor with a greater number of cores and that allow higher frequencies. Now the frequencies of the Core i9 9900K, Core i7 9700K and Core i5 9600K have been revealed.
Intel Whiskey Lake processor frequencies revealed.
The first and the flagship of this new family will be the Intel Core i9 9900K, which will have eight cores and sixteen threads working at a base frequency of 3.6GHz and will reach a Boost frequency of 5.0GHz. This Boost frequency would only be reached with one of the cores. These processors will have 256KB of dedicated L2 cache and will have 16MB of L3 cache. It supports memories in Dual Channel configuration, they will have 16 PCIe lanes and the TDP is 95W.
We go to the Core i7 9700K, which will have eight cores and only eight processing threads, which will work at a base frequency of 3.6GHz and in mood Boost it will reach 4.9GHz. This processor will have a 3MB L12 cache and the TDP is also maintained at 95W.
Within the mid-range we will have the Core i5 9600K processors, based on the Core i5 8600K processors, which indicates that they will have six cores and six processing threads, working at a base frequency of 3.7GHz and in Boost mode it will reach 4.6GHz , which will have 9MB of L3 Cache. This one will also have a 95W TDP.
