An image of the AMD Ryzen 7 4700G APU has been leaked
A few days ago it was leaked that AMD was working on about a dozen new APUs. These new processors will be called Ryzen 4000G, although they are based on the Zen2 @ 7nm architecture. Now the image of the Ryzen 7 4700G has been leaked, which is the most powerful APU launched so far by AMD, specifically it would be the '100-000000146'.
AMD's strategy with respect to its APUs is quite striking, since despite their name, they are usually based on an 'old' architecture. This can lead to performance issues, just as it can with Ryzen notebook processors. But, through this leak, we can 'confirm' the next processors that AMD will launch, which will be highly powerful.

This AM4 socket APU offers us a total of 8 cores and 16 threads, which works at a base frequency of 3.6GHz and that would arrive in Boost mode at 4.45GHz. As we say, this processor will be based on the Zen2 @ 7nm architecture. It will integrate 512KB of L2 cache per core and 8MB of L3 cache. This processor will be accompanied by a Radeon Vega 8 with 512 Stream Processors that will work at 2.1GHz.
Perhaps one of the interesting aspects of this Ryzen 7 4700G is that it will be the first to have so many cores. It also stands out that the Ryzen 5 3400G APU, the most powerful current, has a Vega 11 @ 1.4GHz that has 704 Stream Processors. We would thus see a large reduction in graphics power compared to current APUs.
According to the leaks, the Ryzen 7 4700G will have a 65W TDP, which is really cool. Although the filtration seems fairly reliable, it could be an engineered solution and improvements will be made in the future. Possibly this APU will arrive at the end of the year, along with the Ryzen 4000 architecture Zen3 @ 7nm +
