A month ago Intel launched the Arc A380 desktop graphics card on the Chinese market. This is the first foray of the Xe-HPG architecture to occur on one of the lower end graphics cards, which will form the full Arc Alchemist lineup. Recently, the Gamers Nexus channel posted their in-depth review of the Arc A380, and in the review video, it began and ended with a look at an upcoming Arc A750 graphics card in the team's labs.
Weeks ago, it was revealed that the Intel Arc A380 was slower than the GTX 1650 and the RX 6400 in gaming tests. With such performance, Intel cannot compete in the low-end gaming market , and therefore a higher-end card, the Intel Arc A750 for desktop computers, is reportedly in development.
The A750 for desktop is anything but confirmed
Thanks to Gamers Nexus, we have direct images of the Intel Arc A750 graphics card. It's expected to come with three times the number of Xe cores as the Arc A380, as well as the bandwidth provided by 12GB of VRAM on a 192-bit bus.

The image above is a screenshot from Gamers Nexus’ video, which shows off an “Arc A750 Limited Edition” desktop graphics card. This would be the backplate of the card, and on the other side there should be two visible fans for proper cooling of the cores and PCB. A card very similar to this design was previously seen at the Intel Extreme Masters professional gaming tournament in Texas in June. At the time, that example was said to be one of the Arc 700 series cards, with up to 32 Xe cores.
The video claimed that the Arc A750 had already undergone some preliminary testing and benchmarks, but we would have to wait until "later" to see any content related to this pre-release desktop GPU. It's possible the Arc A750 will be another of the first launches in China, but Gamers Nexus hinted that it's much more likely to debut in markets like the US sometime soon, and Intel won't keep us waiting. We hope that by then they will have resolved their compatibility issues and the availability of drivers for proper gaming compatibility, which is the segment that would most benefit from a third alternative.
