Leaked images of the ASUS GeForce RTX 2080
The three ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 models with the well-known heatsinks are seen in images, so little innovation in this case.
Although they have not been officially presented by NVIDIA, the GeForce RTX 2080 are now a reality and little is left to know at a technical level about them, another thing is the performance. Surely the first performance data will be seen on Monday at Gamescom 2018 and will not leave anyone indifferent. The latest custom models to be seen are the ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 RoG Strix and the ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 Dual.
First images of the new graphics
The top-of-the-range model will be the GeForce RTX 2080 RoG Dual developed for the Republic of Gamers segment, which will have the company's strongest heatsink. It stands out about this graphics card in that the radiator is large format but the plastic heatsink where the three fans are located is longer than the aluminum block, as seen in the image. Speaking of the fans, it seems that they are not loose blades but are interconnected with an outer ring.
The company offers a simpler solution, the GeForce RTX 2080 Dual that dispenses with one of the fans and has an overall simpler design. This cheaper model will be aimed at those who want to save as much as possible despite wanting to have the best of the best.
For those who want something even simpler ASUS offers the GeForce RTX 2080 with the heatsink that looks like NVIDIA's Founders Edition that uses a blower fan. Clearly, it does not seem the best option to us since the refrigeration in this case will suffer a lot and the temperature could rise quite easily and we already know that this is not recommended.
