The REHWK leaker has revealed what could be a comprehensive list of GIGABYTE's upcoming Intel B660 motherboards. This would mean that they will launch AORUS, Gaming and UD series motherboards based on a mid-range B660 chipset. This chipset is thought to be cheaper than current boards with support for Intel Core Alder Lake and DDR5 memory in exchange for having a lower PCIe 5.0 protocol, or even without support for DDr5.
The range of these B660 motherboards would span from the standard ATX form factor to the Micro-ATX. Although from what has been leaked, for now there are no Mini-ITX boards.
The range is divided into DDR5 and DDR4 based motherboards, the latter being clearly the focus of this generation of cheaper Alder Lake motherboards. In addition, the new generation LGA1700 motherboards will be available with a range of WiFi connectivity, such as AC (WiFi 5) or AX (WiFi 6), further segmenting the line.

As has been happening with these leaks for weeks, they are expected to be announced sometime at CES 2022 in Las Vegas to be held early next month. Although many companies are withdrawing their presence due to concern about the coronavirus and its Omicron variant, they will be able to give their announcements and presentations in virtual format.
