FSP Hydro PTM + 850W, a custom liquid cooling block power supply

The FSP Hydro PTM + 850W power supply with liquid cooling block to increase power is officially announced.

Liquid cooling is getting quite popular and more and more users are developing custom systems. Motherboards, processor blocks, graphics blocks, NVMe SSD blocks, among others, are the most common. FSP has presented a power supply that has a liquid cooling block. The FSP Hydro PTM + 850W, has a hybrid cooling system to dissipate heat. It has a fan and a liquid cooling block for a Custom. This allows the power to go up from 850W to 1000W of power.

This power supply has 100% Japanese capacitors and is 80Plus Platinum certified. This certification offers us an energy efficiency of up to 92%. It has a configuration system with double DC-DC transformer. The fountain has a fully modular wiring system with sleeving. It has a 135mm fan with PWM and RGB, in addition to the water block developed by Bitspower.

Perhaps the problem with this power supply is the price, which has not been confirmed, but it will oscillate around 400 euros. To get the most out of this power supply, we will have to have a Custom liquid cooling. Despite the good quality of this PSU and the curiosity of the RL, there are far better solutions.

We can find much more powerful and better power supplies on the market for a computer. Liquid cooling doesn't make sense in a power supply and it's not the best idea either. A short circuit with water involved could be a total catastrophe, although we imagine that the system will be tight. As a curiosity it is fine, but in practice, it has rather little travel.
