Fujitsu releases BIOS update revealing new 9th Gen Core “F” processors
Fujitsu BIOS update reveals a lot of Intel Core “F” processors alongside other Core “T” processors for notebooks.
Intel has just announced that a total of 22 Skylake processors are being discontinued. Pretty soon Fujitsu has leaked new 9th Gen Core, Pentium and Celeron processors. These processors are confirmed by a BIOS update. So Fujitsu adds support for Intel processors that have the "F" badge. Specifically, these processors with this identifier are the ones that do not have integrated graphics. They are supposedly a more economical or efficient solution, but in reality they are not.
Fujitsu updates BIOS for Core “F” processors
It was in January when these processors were confirmed although so far they have not been seen. The next of these 9th Generation processors to expand this family of processors will be the Core i7-9750H, intended for notebooks. The Core i5-9400 and Core i5 9400F processors, which have six cores and six threads, are scheduled to arrive. Additionally, the arrival of the "KF" based on the Core i5-9600K, Core i7-9700K and Core i9-9900K is expected, indicating that they are versions with disabled graphics.
Possibly this generation of processors can be expanded with new Core i3 solutions that must have four cores and four threads. A variant of the Core i5-9500 and Core i5-9600 is also expected.
The "F" processors are characterized above all by not having dedicated graphics, since they have been disabled. We will possibly see all 9th Generation processors with this badge indicating that there are no integrated graphics. The Pentium G5600 is expected to have an "F" version. Above all, these processors have been designed for gaming enthusiasts who will use a dedicated graphics.
In addition to these there are also the "T" drives from Intel, which have a much lower TDP than the desktop versions. You will see quite a few versions of these processors with a TDP of only 35W.
