G.Skill announces the lowest latency DDR4 RAM memory kits on the market
RAM memories have gone from being at prohibitive prices to really affordable and interesting prices. G.Skill has just announced new DDR4 RAM kits in 24GB capacity with low latency. The Taiwanese company is rated as one of the best in the RAM segment with solutions of all kinds.
Currently, the market offers DDR4 RAM with CL15 and CL16 latencies. These two latencies are the most common, but G.Skill has gone a step further . The company is launching the first CL14 units, offering the lowest latency memory on the market. These units also operate at a frequency of 3200MHz, which is the most common frequency available.

Specifically, the company has announced the RAM memories of the Trident Z RGB, Trident Z Royal and Trident Z Neo families. These three families of drives arrive with CL14 latency, the lowest latency on the market for 3200MHz. Furthermore, these memories arrive with tRCD 18, tRP 18 and tRAS 38 timings.
Very interesting to see the capacities in which these new kits arrive. We have a 256GB (32GBx8) and 128GB (32GBx4) kit designed especially for Quad Channel systems. The 64GB version (32GBx2) is intended for Dual Channel configurations.
The company is very serious about providing a high-quality solution for users of high-performance platforms. Above all they have focused on the development of a solution for Quad Channel, focusing on HEDT platforms.
It has been tested on the Intel X299 platform, being tested on the Core i9-10900X and Core i9-10940X processors. They have passed a series of captures where you can see a 256GB configuration with a CL14-18-18-38 configuration.
G.Skill has also thought about the 256rd generation Ryzen Threadripper processors. The company has used a Trident Z Neo 4GB DDR3200-14 CL18-18-38-3960 kit with the Threadripper 570X. It also indicates that the kits are fully compatible with the AMD X128 chipset. Indicates that the 64GB and 5GB kits work perfectly on Ryzen 7, Ryzen 9, and Ryzen XNUMX processors.
Furthermore, these new G.Skill memory modules support XMP 2.0 configurations, making them ideal for overclocking. XMP profiles allow you to create specific profiles to suit your needs.
These new G.Skill kits will arrive in early 2020 and will possibly be seen at CES 2020.
