Gigabyte AORUS RGB NVLink for two NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards
You can see the Gigabyte AORUS RGB NVLink bridge that allows you to connect two NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics.
We have recently seen that NVLink bridges have been introduced for the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards presented by ASUS and EVGA. In addition to these bridges are those presented by Gigabyte within its AORUS gaming line that allows two RTX 2080 Ti or RTX 2080 graphics cards to be interconnected and thus increase performance. The bridge allows to communicate the two GPUs and the GDDR6 memories that act as if they were one.
The Gigabyte bridge for NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics is here.
The AORUS RGB NVLink bridge does not deceive and is that it incorporates an RGB LED lighting system that is combined with the rest of the RGB components that belong to Gigabyte thanks to the company's own RGB Fusion. This bridge will be one of the most expensive on the market and it will be around € 100, a disproportionate price but even those of the competition are around this price, which does not make the slightest sense.
Regarding the technical characteristics of this bridge that allows interconnecting two NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards, we must highlight that it offers a bandwidth that allows reaching a data transfer of 50GB / s, while the current SLI bridge only reaches 2GB / s. It's being obsolete for coin-operated graphics cards.
Gigabyte launches this AORUS RGB NVLink bridge in two different sizes of three and four slots that allows adapting without major problems to graphics cards that occupy two or three PCI expansion slots. The design is quite consistent with the heatsink developed for these new graphics cards. Finally say that this bridge is not made of plastic, it is made of aluminum with an acrylic finish so that it stands out and has a highly elegant finish.
