Gigabyte AORUS TRX40: Filtered the first image of a motherboard for the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3000
First look at the Gigabyte AORUS TRX40 motherboard, a motherboard directly developed for AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors.
There's been a lot of talk about AMD Threadripper processors in recent weeks. These new processors will theoretically come with three different chipsets, although there's no official confirmation. This past week, the presentation and release dates for these processors were leaked . Now, the first motherboard for these processors has been revealed, this one from Gigabyte.
AMD Threadripper processors were a solution developed by the company's engineers that was not in the roadmap. These processors have become a great solution for small servers, workstations and the like. They offer an excellent quality / price ratio and are a great alternative to Intel's Core-Xs, which are usually expensive.

An image of a motherboard for these processors has been released and has yet to be revealed. We see how the image has become quite obfuscated and the RGB stands out above all. Although you can see quite little, you do have a lot of intuition, like PCIe slots, DIMMs and connectivity. It is also appreciated that the chipset of these motherboards carried a fan.
Gigabyte AORUS TRX40 is E-ATX format, something that is usually normal on Workstation motherboards. This motherboard we see that it has four PCIE x16 4.0 slots and eight DDR4 DIMM slots in Quad Channel configuration. There are also three NMVe PCIe 4.0 SSD slots for the heatsinks between the PCIe lanes.
We see a gigantic heatsink for the chipset that has RGB and that has the inscription “Team up. Figth On ”. We see that it would also have RGB in the lower area. An eight-pin power connector can also be seen in the lower corner. Along with this there appear to be two connectors for USB 3.0 and at least eight SATA ports. There is another block with a display, which we do not know what it will offer us.
