Gigabyte breaks 11 world records with the new AMD EPYC Rome

The new AMD EPYC Rome processors on Gigabyte motherboards have managed to break a total of 11 world records and show their great power.

A few days ago, the new AMD EPYC Rome processors were officially unveiled . These new AMD processors are based on Zen 2 at 7nm and are specifically designed for servers and data centers, among other applications. The flagship of these new processors is the EPYCC 7742, a 64-core, 128-thread chipset. Well, with this processor and the Gigabyte R282-Z90 dual-socket and Gigabyte R272-Z30 motherboards, they have managed to break 11 world records.

These new processors from AMD pose a big problem for Intel. AMD with these processors is expected to go from a market share of 1% (before EPYC) to 20% or more. They are processors with a large number of cores, efficiency and performance for a lower price than Xeon.
