AORUS Z790 X Gen motherboards come equipped with cutting-edge technologies to offer better DDR5 compatibility and high-quality performance. They support DDR5 RAM memory modules with frequencies up to DDR5 XMP-8266. This is possible with the recently introduced Back Drilling technology, which improves signal integrity for better system performance and greater reliability.

AORUS Z790 Wi-Fi 7 support. The M.2 EZ-Latch Click allows Screwless installation of M.2 heatsinks when combined with the M.2 EZ-Latch Plus, for tool-free installation of M.2 SSDs. Their thermal designs are designed to keep the system cool even running at high workloads. The PCIe UD Slot Its ultra-high gain antenna combines directional and omnidirectional features for stronger, faster and more stable signals.

The BIOS has undergone a comprehensive overhaul, introducing the user-centric UC BIOS. A redesigned UI and UX is offered, with a quick access panel with customizable options slots. Users can configure commonly used functions from Advanced Mode, such as shortcut keys accessible from Easy Mode.
