Gigabyte also registers RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 graphics

MSI has first registered a pair of AMD RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 graphics cards before the EEC. Now it is the turn of the Gigabyte graphs, in this case a large number of them registered. Gigabyte has specifically registered 10 models, 5 are based on the RX 6800 XT and 5 are based on the RX 6800.

This afternoon AMD will present the RX 6000, among which will be the RX 6800 XT and RX 6800, without any doubt. The big question we have is about the performance of these new graphics under RayTracing. They will be the first AMD graphics to support this technology, while its competitor NVIDIA is already in the second generation.

On the one hand, the RX 6800 XT would have 72 Compute Units, which is a total of 4.608 Stream Processors. Rumors speak of a reference frequency that would be around 2.1GHz and 2.3GHz, while the Custom models would pass 2.5GHz. On the other hand, the RX 6800 is a trimmed version of the previous one with 64 Compute Units and a total of 4.096 Stream Processors.

At the moment Gigabyte has registered AORUS Master, Gaming OC and simpler models based on these graphs. There is no record of more graphics card models. We imagined that not only were these two models presented, but more solutions were shown.

Very possibly the AMD RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 will be released on November 5. This is because it is the release date for the new AMD Ryzen 5000 processors. The company may want to repeat previous successful launches of its two main product lines.

Just place you at 17:00 on our Twitter account where we will follow the presentation of the AMD graphics.
